Independent Living Partnership

Independent Living Partnership Ltd (ILP) provides a range of services for both disabled and non-disabled people. ILP works in partnership with Shropshire County Council, Telford & Wrekin Council, Children with Disabilities Team, Shropshire PCT and Assist UK, a national organisation leading in advice and information on assistive technology for disabled people.

ILP operates in accordance with the social model of disability, believing that it is the society in which we live, that renders people disabled. Our services therefore look at prevention as well immediate solutions. Our philosophy however, is that you are the expert in defining your needs, we are simply here to help you help yourself. Therefore ILP services are both flexible and comprehensive.

The Independent Living Centre offers

of courses available to anyone providing care
or equipment to disabled and elderly people.
